This Image Upload Policy explains what you may upload to InkMee and how photos, prompts and related project files are used when you request a preview or order a custom figurine. It works together with the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Sale and Cookie Policy.
InkMee uses private uploads only to provide the requested preview, custom 3D design, physical Resin figurine and related support. Private files are not used for public marketing. InkMee does not use them to train its own generalized AI models, and service providers may process them only as needed to provide the contracted service.
You must own the image or have permission to use it, including from each identifiable person shown.
A parent, legal guardian or other legally authorized adult must submit or approve a child’s image.
Visible face or body features are interpreted to make the requested figurine, never to identify or track a person.
Uploading or ordering never authorizes a gallery, social post, testimonial or advertisement.
1. What This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to photos, screenshots, scans, prompts, notes and other files submitted through InkMee’s website, account or upload flow for a preview, order or support request. Do not send sensitive photos by ordinary email unless InkMee specifically requests them through an authorized support process.
Personal-data handling, retention and privacy rights are explained in the Privacy Policy. Contract and order rules are explained in the Terms of Service and Sale.
2. What You May Upload
Upload only files that are relevant to your requested figurine or support request. For the best result, use clear, well-lit images that show the subject and important clothing or accessories. See the Photo Guide for practical image guidance.
- Photos you created or are authorized to use.
- Photos of yourself or people who have agreed to the intended use.
- Family, couple, pet, wedding, graduation or memorial references submitted with appropriate authority.
- Additional views that help explain clothing, pose, hairstyle, accessories or hidden details, when InkMee asks for them.
3. Your Permission and Responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to create an account, upload a photo or place an order.
By uploading a file, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it for the requested InkMee service. You must also have any consent or authority required from each identifiable person shown in the image.
If you upload an image for another person, you are responsible for explaining the intended custom-figurine use and obtaining any permission required by applicable law. InkMee may ask for evidence of permission or refuse, pause or remove a file when authority is unclear.
4. Children and Images Supplied for Others
A parent, legal guardian or other legally authorized adult must submit or approve images of a child where required. Do not upload exploitative, sexualized, abusive or unsafe content involving a minor.
InkMee may request additional confirmation, decline the project or delete the material if the required authority cannot be verified.
5. How InkMee Uses Uploaded Files
InkMee may use uploaded files to:
- Create an AI-assisted character preview before ordering.
- Understand the selected subject, pose, clothing and product options.
- Allow a human specialist to reconstruct and review the complete 3D model after checkout.
- Manufacture, finish, inspect, package and deliver the physical Resin figurine.
- Provide customer support, investigate an order issue, process an approved remake or meet legal obligations.
The preview is a visual direction, not the final production model. After checkout, a human specialist reconstructs and reviews the complete 3D design for production. Unless InkMee separately offers an approval step in writing, the production workflow does not include routine second customer approval. See How It Works for the current process.
6. AI, Human Review and Visible Face or Body Features
InkMee may use AI-assisted tools to interpret visual features and create a preview. Human specialists and approved service providers may then access relevant project files to complete the custom design, production, quality review and support process.
The service may analyze visible face or body features to create an artistic 3D representation. InkMee does not use this process to identify you, authenticate an identity, search for a person in a database or build a general facial-recognition profile.
If a service feature would create or retain information regulated as biometric data, InkMee will provide a separate notice and obtain any consent required before that feature is used.
7. Private Use, Public Use and AI Training
Uploaded photos, image URLs, prompts, visible facial or body features and personalized project files are private by default. InkMee does not use private customer files to train its own generalized AI models. InkMee requires operational providers to process private project files only as needed to provide the contracted service and under applicable data-protection terms.
InkMee will not publish a source photo, preview or finished figurine in a gallery, portfolio, social post, testimonial or advertisement without a separate, optional public-use permission. Public-use permission is not AI-training permission. Refusing or withdrawing it does not affect the normal price or core service. InkMee will stop new use and remove content from channels it controls within a reasonable period where practicable.
8. Prohibited Content
Do not upload content that:
- You do not own or have permission to use.
- Violates privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Is illegal, fraudulent, threatening, hateful, exploitative or sexually explicit.
- Contains malware, hidden code or material intended to disrupt the service.
- Requests deceptive impersonation, unlawful surveillance or other harmful use.
- Involves a public figure, protected character, logo, brand or other third-party material without the rights needed for the requested use.
InkMee may reject or remove prohibited content, suspend the related project and preserve limited evidence where reasonably necessary for security, disputes or legal compliance.
9. Storage, Retention and Deletion
InkMee keeps uploaded and project files only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested preview or order, support the customer, maintain security, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.
Two windows are applied automatically. Preview files that were never connected to an order are deleted 30 days after they were created. Source photos and generated files connected to an order are deleted 90 days after delivery, while the order record is kept for accounting and support. Limited transaction, accounting, security, consent and legal records may be retained for longer where required.
Reference photos and sketches added to InkMee Imagine are deleted automatically 7 days after upload if they are not used in a creation, including references you removed from the form. A reference used in a creation is kept and deleted together with that creation under the windows above.
Deletion applies to active systems first; backup copies expire on their own rotation, and records under an active dispute or a legal hold are kept until it ends. Deleting files needed for an unfinished order may prevent the order from being completed.
To request deletion earlier, use the Contact page or email service@inkmee.studio. Include enough information to locate the relevant upload, preview or order.
10. Reporting Unauthorized Content
If you believe your image or another protected work was uploaded without authority, contact service@inkmee.studio with the relevant page, preview or order information and an explanation of your rights. InkMee may temporarily restrict the material while reviewing the report.
11. Contact and Related Policies
