These Terms of Service and Sale govern your use of InkMee’s website, preview tools, accounts, custom-design services and purchases. By using the service or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below.
The Image Upload Policy governs uploaded files; the Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling; the Cookie Policy explains analytics choices; and Shipping & Returns controls delivery, cancellation and product-problem remedies.
Users must be at least 18 and have permission for every uploaded image and every identifiable person in it.
The AI-assisted preview sets the direction; after checkout a specialist reconstructs and reviews the complete 3D model.
Production proceeds after checkout unless InkMee offers an approval step in writing. Check every detail before ordering.
Change-of-mind returns are not free after custom work begins; valid defects, damage and wrong items are remedied at InkMee’s cost.
Contracting Seller
The InkMee entity identified before payment is the contracting seller. The current seller and legal contact information are displayed before payment and in the order confirmation. Customer support and legal notices may be sent through the Contact page or to service@inkmee.studio.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to create an account, upload a photo or place an order. If you use an account, you are responsible for accurate information, credential security and activity under that account.
InkMee may refuse, restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate fraud or prevent misuse.
2. What InkMee Provides
InkMee provides AI-assisted character previews and made-to-order physical Resin figurines created from customer-supplied photos and selections. A preview helps communicate an artistic direction but is not the final production model, a guaranteed pixel-perfect likeness, an STL file or another digital product unless InkMee expressly states otherwise.
After checkout, a human specialist reconstructs and reviews the complete 3D model for production. The current production and delivery estimates are shown on the product page, at checkout and in Shipping & Returns. They are estimates unless InkMee confirms a guaranteed date in writing.
InkMee Imagine creates an original character from your description, any reference photos or sketches you add and the preferences you select. An Imagine preview is a two-dimensional concept image. To turn it into a stable physical piece, the 3D specialist adapts the design for production, for example by folding wings, shortening long props or keeping them close to the body, resting floating elements on the figure or its base and simplifying very fine details. The finished figurine follows the direction of the preview but does not reproduce every element of it exactly.
3. Preview and Order Information
You are responsible for selecting the intended subject, product type, size, base, finish, delivery address and other options, and for providing clear reference images and complete instructions before checkout.
Unless InkMee separately offers an approval step in writing, the standard production process does not include routine second customer approval after checkout. Contact InkMee immediately if information is wrong; changes are not guaranteed after custom work begins and may require additional time, cost or a new order.
4. Uploaded Content and Permissions
You keep ownership of content you upload. You give InkMee a limited permission to host, process, adapt and share the content only as reasonably needed to provide the requested preview, custom design, production, delivery, support, security and legal compliance.
You confirm that you own the files or have permission to use them and have any consent or authority required from identifiable people shown. You must not upload illegal, infringing, exploitative, deceptive, harmful or unauthorized content. Detailed rules are in the Image Upload Policy.
For InkMee Imagine, these rules also apply to reference photos, sketches and written descriptions. Do not describe or upload characters, logos, brands or other material that belongs to someone else unless you have the right to use it. Images shown as illustrative designs or concepts on the Imagine pages are AI-generated examples of the service, not a promised result.
5. Prices, Payment and Taxes
Prices, available options, discounts, shipping charges and any taxes collected by InkMee are shown before order submission. Currency conversion, bank or payment-provider fees may be charged separately by the relevant provider.
An order is accepted when InkMee confirms it and payment is authorized. InkMee may cancel or correct an order affected by an obvious price, inventory, fraud, technical or legal error and will refund any amount collected for the cancelled portion.
6. Production, Delivery and Risk
Complex groups, missing references, requested changes, peak periods, customs, carrier delays or events outside reasonable control may extend the estimated timeline. Tracking is provided where supported by the selected route and carrier.
You must provide a complete delivery address and cooperate with customs or carrier requests. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery, unpaid import charges or failure to collect a parcel may be charged where permitted by law. Full rules are in Shipping & Returns.
7. Changes, Cancellations and Personalized Returns
You may request cancellation before paid custom work begins. If accepted at that stage, InkMee provides a full refund to the original payment method.
If custom design work has begun but physical production has not started, cancellation may still be possible. Before confirming the cancellation, InkMee will explain any amount retained for completed custom work. Any retained amount will not exceed the value of work already completed and will be applied only where permitted by law. After physical production begins, change-of-mind cancellation is generally unavailable because the product is personalized and cannot reasonably be resold.
InkMee does not provide free returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind after custom work begins. A non-quality return is available only if InkMee approves an exception in writing, and the customer is responsible for return shipping and related non-recoverable costs where permitted by law.
8. Product Variation and Covered Problems
A custom figurine is an artistic physical interpretation. Minor and reasonable differences in color, surface, proportions, hidden areas or production-safe structural details are not automatically defects.
Valid claims for manufacturing defects, transit damage, a wrong or missing item, an unsafe product or a material inconsistency with the confirmed order are handled under Shipping & Returns. Depending on the issue and applicable law, the remedy may include repair, remake, replacement, partial refund or full refund. For a valid covered problem, InkMee provides the appropriate remedy at its cost, including necessary return shipping when a physical return is required.
9. Intellectual Property
InkMee’s website, software, brand, templates, general tools and non-customer-specific content are owned by InkMee or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of InkMee technology or branding to you.
Your purchase grants personal ownership of the delivered physical figurine. It does not grant rights to copy InkMee software, resell digital production files, use InkMee branding or commercially exploit third-party rights contained in the design unless separately authorized.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with security, scrape or reverse engineer protected systems, upload malware, automate abusive requests, evade access controls or use the service to violate law or another person’s rights.
InkMee may remove content, cancel a project or restrict access when reasonably necessary to investigate or stop prohibited use. Where a paid order is affected, any refund depends on work already completed, the reason for the action and applicable law.
11. Service Availability and Disclaimer
InkMee aims to keep the website and preview tools available, but temporary interruptions, maintenance, provider outages or technical errors may occur. Preview output and production estimates may vary based on image quality, complexity and service conditions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, guarantee or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InkMee is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. Where liability can lawfully be limited, InkMee’s aggregate liability for a claim connected with an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order.
These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including certain rights involving fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury, unsafe products or mandatory consumer protections.
13. Privacy and Electronic Communications
Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy and Image Upload Policy. Browser storage and analytics choices are handled under the Cookie Policy. Accepting these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for optional analytics, marketing, public image use or regulated face or body processing.
14. Changes to These Terms
InkMee may update these Terms for future use when the service, business or legal requirements change. The revised date will appear at the top. Terms applying to an accepted order will not be changed retroactively unless required by law or agreed with you.
15. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms and any non-consumer dispute are governed by the law of the place where the contracting seller identified at checkout is registered, and non-consumer disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts unless a written business agreement states otherwise.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law and forum does not deprive you of any mandatory protection or court access that cannot legally be excluded in your place of habitual residence. Before starting a formal dispute, you and InkMee should try to resolve the issue through customer support where practical. Nothing prevents a privacy complaint to a regulator, an eligible small-claims filing or urgent relief where available.
16. Contact and Related Policies
