1. Who Is Responsible

InkMee, operated by the seller identified before payment and in the order confirmation, is the data controller for the services described in this Policy. The contracting seller and current legal contact information are shown before payment and in the order confirmation.

For privacy questions or requests, use the Contact page or email service@inkmee.studio.

2. Personal Data We Collect

  • Account and contact details, such as name, email address, sign-in information and communication preferences.
  • Order and transaction details, such as selected product, size, options, delivery address, payment status and order history.
  • Uploaded photos, prompts, reference notes, preview outputs and personalized 3D project files.
  • Support communications, reviews, claim evidence and records of deletion or consent requests.
  • Device and website information, such as browser type, approximate location, referral source, page interactions, security logs and cookie choices.
  • Information provided by payment, delivery, authentication or fraud-prevention partners when needed to complete or protect a transaction.

InkMee does not need full payment-card details when a payment provider processes the transaction directly. The provider handles those details under its own privacy terms.

3. How and Why We Use Personal Data

  • Provide an AI-assisted preview and respond to preview requests.
  • Create, manufacture, inspect, package and deliver a custom physical Resin figurine.
  • Operate accounts, carts, checkout, payments, customer support, cancellations, remakes and refunds.
  • Protect users, prevent fraud, maintain security and investigate misuse.
  • Improve site reliability, performance and customer experience through permitted analytics.
  • Send service messages and, where you choose, marketing communications.
  • Meet accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.

Where laws such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR require a legal basis, InkMee generally relies on:

  • Contract or pre-contract steps for previews, accounts, checkout, custom design, production, delivery, support, cancellations and refunds.
  • Consent for optional analytics, marketing, public use of customer projects and regulated face or body processing where consent is required.
  • Legitimate interests for service security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, reliability and limited service improvement where those interests are not overridden by individual rights.
  • Legal obligations for accounting, tax, product safety, sanctions, consumer protection, lawful requests and dispute records.

Where consent is the basis, it can be withdrawn for future processing as easily as it was given. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

4. Photos, AI-Assisted Previews and Human 3D Work

Uploaded photos may be processed by AI-assisted tools to create a preview and interpret visual features. After checkout, a human specialist reconstructs and reviews the complete 3D model for production. Relevant project files may also be accessed for manufacturing, quality review and customer support.

InkMee may analyze visible face or body features to create an artistic representation, but does not use the service to identify or authenticate a person or to search a general facial-recognition database.

InkMee does not use private uploaded photos, image URLs, prompts, visible facial or body features or personalized project files to train its own generalized AI models. InkMee requires service providers to process private project files only as needed to provide the contracted service and under applicable data-protection terms. Separate optional permission may allow a specified project to appear in a gallery, portfolio, social post, testimonial or advertisement, but public-use permission is not AI-training permission. Detailed uploader responsibilities and prohibited content are in the Image Upload Policy.

5. When We Share Personal Data

InkMee shares only the information reasonably needed with providers that support the service, such as:

  • Cloud hosting, storage, security and website infrastructure providers.
  • AI, design, production and quality-review providers involved in the requested project.
  • Payment, authentication, fraud-prevention and checkout providers.
  • Delivery, customs and logistics providers.
  • Customer-support, email and analytics providers.
  • Professional advisers, authorities or parties involved in a legal claim or business transaction where lawful and necessary.

InkMee does not sell private uploaded photos or personalized project files. Providers are expected to use personal data only for the authorized service and to apply appropriate confidentiality and security controls.

6. International Processing

InkMee serves customers across borders. Personal data may be processed in China and in other countries where InkMee or its service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those in your location.

Where required, InkMee uses appropriate contractual, organizational or other safeguards for international transfers and limits access to what is needed for the relevant service.

7. Retention and Deletion

InkMee keeps personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing a preview, completing an order, supporting the customer, maintaining security, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations.

Retention depends on the status of the project and the type of record. Three windows are applied automatically by InkMee’s systems:

  • Preview files that were never connected to an order are deleted 30 days after they were created.
  • Source photos and generated files connected to an order are deleted 90 days after the order is delivered; the order record itself is kept for accounting and support.
  • The InkMee visit log, kept only for visitors who allow analytics, is deleted 180 days after each visit.

Reference photos and sketches added to InkMee Imagine are deleted automatically 7 days after upload if they are not used in a creation, including references you removed from the form. A reference used in a creation is kept and deleted together with that creation under the windows above.

Account, transaction, accounting, tax, security, consent and legal records may be retained for longer where required or reasonably necessary. Deletion applies to active systems first; backup copies expire on their own rotation, and records under an active dispute or a legal hold are kept until it ends.

To request deletion, use the Contact page or email service@inkmee.studio. InkMee may need to verify the request. Deleting files needed for an unfinished order may prevent completion, and limited records may remain where required for law, security, fraud prevention or an active dispute.

8. Cookies, Analytics and Marketing

InkMee uses necessary browser storage for requested features such as security, sign-in, cart, checkout and consent records. InkMee also uses Google Analytics to understand site performance. Where prior consent is required, analytics storage remains off until you choose it. Details and controls, including the Cookie Settings control in the website footer, are in the Cookie Policy.

Service messages about an account or order are not marketing. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted and can be stopped through the unsubscribe link or by contacting InkMee.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent or appeal a decision. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy or data-protection authority.

InkMee does not discriminate against a customer for exercising a privacy right. Rights may be limited where an exception applies, including identity verification, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention or the rights of another person.

Submit a request through the Contact page or email service@inkmee.studio. State the request and the email, preview or order information needed to locate the relevant data. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable, subject to verification.

10. Regional Privacy Notices

10.1 EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability, withdraw consent and complain to your local supervisory authority. International transfers use contractual or other safeguards required by applicable law. You may contact InkMee for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.

10.2 United States, Including California

Depending on state law, you may request confirmation, access, correction, deletion or a portable copy and may appeal a denied request. InkMee does not sell private customer photos or personalized project files and does not share them for cross-context behavioral advertising. If InkMee introduces processing treated as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising, it will provide the required opt-out and honor legally required browser preference signals.

10.3 Other Locations

InkMee will provide the access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, complaint and cross-border transfer rights required in your location. A request can be submitted through the same contact channels, and InkMee will respond within the period required by applicable law.

11. Children and Other Depicted People

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to create an account, upload a photo or place an order. Images of children must be submitted or approved by a parent, legal guardian or other legally authorized adult where required. InkMee may request evidence of authority or remove material that cannot be lawfully processed.

If you believe your image was submitted without permission, contact InkMee so the material can be reviewed and restricted where appropriate.

12. Security

InkMee uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, secure transmission, role-based handling and limited retention. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep account credentials confidential and notify InkMee promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

13. Changes to This Policy

InkMee may update this Policy when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The revised date will be shown at the top. If a change materially affects an existing consent or privacy choice, InkMee will provide additional notice or request a new choice where required.

14. Contact and Related Policies
