A custom couple figurine is a made-to-order physical figure of two people designed as one shared composition. InkMee uses the main reference photo to interpret both people’s appearance, relative height, clothing, posture, spacing and interaction before refining the design for full-color resin production.
A clear photo showing both people together is usually the strongest main reference because it establishes shared scale, spacing and body language. Faces should be large enough to inspect, clothing should be visible, and the pose should not hide large parts of either person. Supporting photos can clarify details when needed.
One shared photo is strongly preferred because it provides the real relationship between height, spacing and posture. Separate photos can help clarify faces, hairstyles or clothing, but they should support rather than replace the main composition whenever possible.
Relative height can be preserved when the main reference represents the intended proportions. If the photo is distorted by steps, unusual footwear, camera angle or perspective, provide a note or supporting image so the intended height relationship is clear.
Anniversary photos, travel pictures, everyday portraits and other shared moments can all work well. Choose a photo because it captures how the two people look and naturally stand together. No. A couple can still read naturally as one composition when the two people are standing apart. The important information is their relative height, spacing and body language. Small spacing adjustments may be made during 3D refinement so both figures remain stable on the shared base.
Contact between two figures can be simplified or connected for strength. Thin gaps, fingers, loose clothing edges or unsupported accessories may be thickened, merged or repositioned slightly so the piece can be produced reliably while preserving the intended shared gesture.
Yes. The reference photo provides the starting relationship, but if you want the two figures slightly closer together or farther apart, make that direction clear before ordering. Any adjustment still needs to produce a balanced, printable composition on the shared base.
No. If you are standing apart we will still build one connected composition, and you can tell us how close you want to be. What a photo of you together does give us is the honest height difference and how you naturally stand next to each other.
It is not the strong option. Two portraits give us two faces but no shared scale, so relative height, spacing and the way you lean towards each other all become guesses. Send one photo of the pair whenever you have one.
