Use one clear image that shows the whole group, with faces large enough to inspect, visible clothing and as little overlap as practical. A photo taken near eye level usually gives more reliable proportions than a steep high-angle shot. The main image should define who stands where and how the group is arranged.
The available group size follows the current Family product options shown on the website when you order. If the number of people in your photo does not match an available configuration, contact InkMee before ordering rather than assuming extra figures can be added without affecting scale, readability or stability.
Yes. Relative scale is one of the most important cues in a family composition. If young children are shown or the photo is old, their ages can help interpret the intended proportions. Supporting photos are useful when perspective makes one person appear unusually large or small.
Yes. Supporting photos can clarify a face, hairstyle or clothing detail that is too small or partly hidden in the main image. The main family photo should still define the group arrangement, clothing version and pose so the supporting references do not create conflicting directions.
InkMee may open the spacing slightly, connect nearby forms or simplify small gaps so the finished group remains printable and stable. The order of people, relative scale and overall grouping should remain recognizable even when a tightly packed photograph needs structural adjustment.

Yes. An older family photo can preserve a particular chapter, age and arrangement of the family rather than updating everyone to their present appearance. If faces are small, faded or unclear, newer supporting photos can clarify identity while the older main image continues to define the intended period, clothing and composition.
Up to three. Beyond that the figures either shrink below the size where faces stay recognizable, or the base grows past what ships safely. For a larger family, ask us before ordering and we will tell you honestly what will work.
Ask before ordering. A pet occupies roughly the space of a child in the composition, so a pet plus two adults is usually workable while a pet plus three people is not.
Only in that a small child's face is a small part of a wide family photo. Send a closer reference for each child if the main photo has them small, and tell us their ages so the proportions read as the age you mean.
